Juvenile Magnificent Frigatebird flying south from Obsidian Butte at the Salton Sea, Imperial County, CA on 11 Sep 2016; one of a flock of four birds found by Gary Nunn.
Observation details
Two adult males and two immatures. First spotted by Gary Nunn at Obsidian Butte, we caught up with them as they were flying south over Severe and Grubel and again at Severe and Lindsey, before they gained altitude and headed southeast.
