Media notes

Two recordings combined with one second of silence between the recordings and one second of silence where I cut out the noise of me moving to re-position as the bird moved.

Observation details

Small flycatcher that was greenish on the upperparts, whitish on the underparts and with double, bright, whitish wingbars. The bird had thin whitish eyerings. The bird was actively foraging low in the understory, moving perches frequently and singing regularly. Have seen and heard this species on a few occasions in the past while birding in Texas. Distinctive song. A recording of the bird singing is attached.
