Observation details
Rare in county. Adult calling and flying around trees near park entrance and entrance to private marina - viewed from behind log cabin at park entrance. Seemed to have a preference for one cottonwood tree with a large (8-12 in. diameter) dead stem about 30 feet up, as it would fly away and return to this tree repeatedly.
