Observation details
Both birds were seen and photographed together, though they frequently associated with the other shorebird species. Larger than nearby LESA, with black legs, and a thick, dark bill. Breast was buffy, as was the head, the chest and flanks a clean white. Wings extended beyond the tip of the tail. Back and tertials had a scaly pattern to them, with brown feathers being edged in white. There appears to be a slight dark smudge going through the eye.
