NOTES: Other General Habitat: Varzea (Sparse cover) BNA: Song Form 1 "pee-ah-wee!", but briefer, without middle syllable. mf [No, this is instead the "pweee" call that is often given by these birds on the winter grounds (illustrated in Figure 4 of BNA, but not mentioned in the account!) Though similar, these calls are a little bit harsher and more forceful than those in LNS #7399 from Panama during fall migration. Quality changed from 2-1 to 2-1, 2 (better in first part, before Dromococcyx begins singing loudly at ca. 1:40) - CAM - 5 January 2005]. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Creek, Edge.
