Observation details
diagnostic song heard and photo taken. one was singing in the bushes a tenth of a mile from the Eagle City Soccer Complex parking lot at the beginning of the Soccer Field Spur. the other was singing just south of where the trail crosses the railroad tracks in the vicinity of Tremont City Rd. both singing males may have been accompanied by females- it was difficult to glimpse them in the bushes. last year I saw and heard 2 Bell's Vireos singing along the trail here in the spring, in somewhat different locations.
