Observation details
Difficult silent empid, seemed different from Pac-slopes that were around and I thought it might by Dusky. But now I'm second-guessing and suspecting it is Pac-slope. Greyish rather than greenish, round head, more compact bill, no tail wagging though actively foraging. From photos: bill too large for Hammond's and face does not looked 'punched-in'. Eyering incomplete and messy. Tail appears long (although perhaps not long enough for Dusky?) and primary extension relatively short. Bill is narrow with straight sides. Lower mandible orange with blotched dark on distal half, but perhaps too orange for Dusky.
