Observation details
Apparently a first for the park. I immediately recognized the call of this bird coming from behind me before it did a close flyby of my head and landed in the willows to the right of the beach. After about a minute, it moved across the creek to a high snag before flying off towards the boat launch. I heard it again about 25 minutes later near the bathrooms, but didn't see it. Classic flycatcher with black body and head and white belly. Photos to come.
