Observation details
**MEGA. Stunning views of this bird and many photographs by CLW. The bird associated with some of the smaller Canada Geese (interior or canadensis). The hindtoes were intact and there was no sign of captivity or abnormal wear. The bird was tame, in the same manner that all the other geese here are allowing approaches of 10 feet or less (often walking toward you). The bird first appeared on or around 22 December. Jessie and I came back later in the day with Bill Schmoker and also saw the bird then.
