NOTES: (No. of Animals/Sex: 10 adults, male and female. Breeding Status: Territorial Paired. Behav. Context: Mating invitation, nest invitation, aggression. Sound Delivery Rate: Agitated. General Climate: Humid. Cover Density: Open.) About 10 adult Least Terns setting up territories (no scrapes yet). Sounds include flight calls used in territorial display and some aggression as a Great Blue Heron walked through the area and was dived on. (I was testing the Nagra and practicing but thought the sound was worth saving because most recordings are made in breeding colonies when the terns are upset.). Other Behaviors: Court, Social Context: Colony. Habitat: Lagoon, Suburban, Field, Barren, Sand.
