Observation details

HOT SAUCE! It took me a while to figure out what the heck that little pale plover was running around the tip (kept losing it + 70kph winds and blowing sand in the way). Small pale plover. Dark legs eliminate Piping. White edges to tail and pale hind-collar eliminate Lesser Sand (who knew?). First seen with a Sanderling, but SAND vanished and wasn't seen again. SNPL vanished but was probably just hiding down low from the sandstorm. I kept tabs on it for a good 3 hours until others arrived and I left it in their hands.Apparently stayed all day. Managed some photos. 1st record for Pelee - less than 10 for Ontario <
