Observation details
Three birds seen well and photographed. Favouring area to right of Geelbek Hide. Individuals observed doing "snipe-like" vertical "drilling" and extracting polychate worms (which this species apparently specialises on in non-breeding areas. Initially picked up one bird at 1420hrs, then second bird at around 1530hrs, third bird at around 1545hrs. Three birds observed together (I have video panning across all three). Loosely associating with one another in same general area but then often moving apart.
