Media notes

Chatter, moving about 2m above ground through two pine trees near S(E) end of pond. Not seen well.

Observation details

Heard only (chatter). OK, I did see the bird but if I had only seen it I would not have been able to identify it. Little, brief motion at head level in the pine. Dark brown, might have been a clue but the behavior would not have led me in that direction. It appeared to be moving through two pines near the S(E) corner of the pond, right of where the trail from below joins with the one above. I came to this area looking for WIWR based on "site fidelity" of my own.

Additional species

  • White-throated Sparrow Zonotrichia albicollis
  • Carolina Chickadee Poecile carolinensis
