Observation details
Returning bird for a third consecutive year. Found in the same location in the peat bog area off the left side of the trail just before the main bridge over the river (if walking from the trailhead from Mountain Road). Used a playback to get it to start singing. I had to walk into the woods about 20 yards or so to get a good look at it. Typical Empidonax Flycatcher. Light wing bars and eye ring. Yellow wash in the center of the breast. I imagine it's an older bird considering the weakness of the yellow. Likely breeding, or attempting to breed in this spot.
