Observation details
Encountered at south end of day use area at approx 8pm. 3 observers. With R Klauke (very familiar with species), Vince Cotterill. One of observers has taken photos which will be added to this record in future. Long primary projection, with short tailed look, dusky gray underparts. Tear drop shape at rear of prominent eye ring. Subdued wing bars. Small dark bill. Actively flitting around some dead branches allowing good views. Wing and tail flicking observed.
