Observation details
Massive raptor seen soaring through bins and then scope at 26.5873393, -99.1554543 (circling E with TUVU and one Osprey at 12:30pm). All dark brown above, dark brown below with faint white wing patches, bright yellow legs. Broad wings and stout, broad tail with faint white tail patch - appeared to be a 2nd year bird. Much larger than nearby Turkey Vultures and Osprey. Unlike TUVU, the bird didn’t have silvery wing undersides, legs were yellow vs TUVU full pink, and the bird had an all dark face. Distance and heat haze made photos difficult, but I got one blurry shot showing whitish wing patches and whitish tail patch.
