Observation details

Rare migrants, but regularly occurring in migratory flocks over inland SE Pennsylvania, heading to Arctic breeding grounds. In this photo, appears to be at least 80 Ruddy Turnstones, along with scattered Red Knots. You can see the darker faced turnstones, with shorter bodies, and long wings. This rules out other long-distance shorebird migrants on the east coast.
