Observation details
Continuing bird seen in a small fruiting tree on the west side of the park at about 8am. Watched for several minutes before it flew east across Diana Dr. Returned to the fruiting tree in the center of the park a few minutes later. Never knowingly heard it vocalize, but quite confiding. The same size as an American Robin, with burnt orange back and slightly paler underparts. Undertail dingy white extending up into the lower belly. Head and wings slate gray. Throat grayish with fine white streaks. Bill florescent orange-yellow. Dark eye with thin orange orbital ring. Structure seemed a bit lankier than American Robin. First discovered on Dec. 31, 2020 by Barry Zimmer.
