Media notes
Distant photo of cormorants flying away at an oblique angle. Presumed Neotropic Cormorant is #6 from rear.
Observation details
1 significantly smaller cormorant flying with a group of about 20 Double-crested Cormorants. The bird appeared slightly paler than the larger DC's, but that may possibly be attributed to more feather shine. The bird did not have the contrast that an immature DC has between neck and body. 2 distant photos. In both photos the reported bird is #6 counting from the back of the group. Birds were seen with Bob Hughes and Ted Wolff. John Heneghan may have seen them too.
