NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial. Gen. Climate: Humid. Cov. Density: Sparse.) LNS: This recording was originally identified by the recordist as Grallaria andicola. However, at a later date, Ted Parker wrote a note in the Grallaria andicola species reel box, indicating that this recording might be misidentified. The recording was subsequently (Oct. 1998) moved to the "Unidentified Rhinocryptid" species reel, based on the recommendation of Tom Schulenberg and Bret Whitney. -Matt Medler, 15 Feb 2011.
