Observation details
*Rare. No prior eBird records for Mt. Auburn, and not any suitable habitat here. Few spring records for Middlesex County apart from Hanscom AFB. Seen around 7AM. I initially spotted the bird from the west side of Laurel Ave. It flew down to the area between Mound Ave and Anemone Path. Then it went back towards Snowdrop or Pilgrim Path and I lost it. Dave Hursh's BBC group came around the bend as the bird took off from Laurel, and at least a few of them, including Dave, got on it briefly. I heard that Jim McCoy and a few others were able to relocate the bird later in the morning.
