Observation details
Continuing bird first reported 11-25-20 by Meg Peterson. After searching the elms in Pilar town for over an hour a Brown Creeper led me to a juvenile Sapsucker. Black and white speckling on back of head, faint yellow wash to lower belly, see photos. Red-naped Sapsucker should have attained adult plumage by now so not that. This is the fourth Taos County record for YBSA two spring reords from the 60's and two late fall records by Meg. County and State bird for me!
