Observation details
Small dark, stocky sandpiper, white eyering, eyebrow not extending behind eye, streaky breastband, greeninsh-grey legs, no white spotting on back, clean white rump, dark underwing seen in flight. Clearly bulkier, less elegant than nearby wood sandpipers.
