Observation details
**Very rare in the County** Amazing find found this morning by Charlie Roberto (big thanks to him and all the others for continually posting throughout the day to give me some hope it was there!). Small egrets, orangish-crest, slightly thick, yellowish bill, black legs. Feeding with a group of Mallards and Canada Goose on the field below the landfill near the main parking lot. Easy to pick out amongst the other birds and the surroundings - bright white dots in the jest of green and brown. Per Larry Trachtenberg’s advice, we stayed in the car to view the birds so as not to spook them. A real blast to see!
