Observation details
Junco that seems pretty good for pink-sided. Broad pink sides extending towards the middle of the breast (but not meeting there). Pale gray hood with contrasting dark lores, hood becoming paler on the breast. Pink sides and grey hood seemed to blend where they met along the sides, rather than forming a contrasting sharp border. Photos. On one photo with the bird facing away from the sun, the black lores do not appear as contrasty as they appeared in the field, and the bird looks more oregon-like; lighting?
