Observation details
I was originally torn between listing this bird as a Western Wood Pewee instead of a Olive-sided Flycatcher until I doubled checked the sizes of the two birds and realized that this bird was modestly bigger than a House Finch that landed beside it and way bigger than a Lesser Goldfinch that also landed close to it. See a few pictures attached.
