Observation details
First bird showed up at 5:37 pm, shortly followed with others and then, 10-15 min later, with 60+ Lesser Nighthawks. Exact number of Common Nighthawks difficult to determine - at least three, likely more. Long pointed wings, large white bar on wings closer to primary base than in Lesser NH. Underside of primaries mostly dark, not mottled/striped as in Lesser NH.
