Observation details
They did a flyover the lake and disappeared. Upon returning from Canaan Valley to Lake Frederick, I'm able to review my photos on a 27" desktop screen and it sure looks like this should be a Northern Harrier. I also considered a Broadwing Hawk because of the under-tail black&white stripes and their spacing. I went back to my original media and found that I took three shots of this very same raptor. The included four shots are as follows: #1 Cropped RAW image edited with Adobe PSE #2 Cropped RAW image edited with Nikon Capture NX2 #3 & #4 Cropped RAW images (both throwaway) using Nikon Capture NX2
