Observation details
This Vireo was with a mixed flock of birds: Chickadees, Titmice, Wrens, Kinglets, and Warblers. To my untrained eye, at first glace, I nearly mistook this for a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. The bill is what grabbed my attention, it was thick and hooked like a Vireo. It was in a area of mixed coniferous and deciduous trees. It stayed lower in the trees, I never saw it on the ground or towards the top of the trees. After discussions (over the internet) with several experienced birders and ornithologist Tony Leukering, it has been confirmed that this is indeed a Hutton's Vireo.
