Observation details
Two 1st winter birds at east end of Fishtail showing well. Mainly separated from one another by c.50m but regularly contact calling to one another. At one stage both birds were on the channel to the immediate east of Fishtail Lagoon where they showed exceptionally well down to 3m and were heard calling a fairly quiet 'chip' call to one another. Occasional mild aggresive interaction seen when they came to close to each other.
