Observation details

Southern Black Tits (Melaniparus niger) are common in southern Africa, from Namibia and Southern Angola to eastern South Africa. These Tits were in a tree in the grounds of the Pretoriuskop Rest Camp in Kruger Park. The longest sequence shows an adult Tit attacking a twig – the reason for this is unclear to me.
