NOTES: (No. of Animals/Sex: 10 adults, male and female. Breeding Status: Territorial Paired. Behav. Context: Annoyance. Sound Delivery Rate: Agitated. General Climate: Humid. Cover Density: Open.) Thousands of pairs of Black-necked Stilts breed on the Doda Farms near Lake Okeechobee. Young were half grown. Adults flew around us giving agitated calls, some very tern-like. Others did "broken-wing" display nearby. Other Behaviors: Scold, Emit Alarm, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Mudflat, Rural, Active Agricultural.
