Blurry view of the body of the bird in center of frame with wing tips visible Olivish upper parts and all yellow underparts. Rear is angled upward to the right. Head is to the left and covered by foliage. Tail is also covered by foliage.
Observation details
Continuing bird. The CONW as it made a brief appearance at approx 8:45am it was spotted through an opening of the jewelweed that surrounded the area as it walked down lower (not hopped) disappearing easily into the weeds. While other observers on the scene were able to see the hood and complete white eyeing, (I was a little late to see it) my glimpse of it was the rest of the body and tail as foliage covered my view of it's face as it walked down lower. It was entirely yellow below and up to almost the tip of it's tail which was shorter than a COYE. The upper body was an oliveish color. The only photo I was able to get (which is blurry) is attached for record purposes.
