Observation details
On 29th April, 1908 Major H. A. F Magrath came across a Yellow-rumped Honeyguide perching on a large bare branch of a Chestnut Tree. At first observation, it stayed for about 30 mins in which it was leisurely observed literally feather-by-feather, about a 10 yards away. The bird flew in opposite direction and the birder went the other. After one hour, the birder returned to the same spot and found it again but wasn't sure if it was the same bird or another one. He also observed it feeding on bees swarming around a hole. He saw another or the same bird three weeks later near the same spot. No nesting records were found. Contact me: iazankhan4@gmail.com
