May be split. The individual singing had clear stripings down its underparts. Presumably Thryothorus eisenmanni. LNS NOTE: Species name changed from T. euophrys to T. eisenmanni. MJA, 4 January 2007. Response to playback: Approach. Habitat: Cloudforest.
