Observation details
I solicited input from a couple of New York's most respected birders who both agree the posture of this bird favors LBDO. This combined with the two call notes I heard that were a good match to the the middle call note recording on Merlin is the reason I am changing this sighting from Short-billed/Long-billed Dowitcher to Long-billed Dowitcher.
