Observation details
Silent. Flycatching in the treetops and vines maybe 15 ft or so from the ground. Bill size and overall size were too big for Least or Yellow-bellied. It looked like a Acadian to me, but I'm not well versed enough to rule out Trail's. EDIT: I'm changing this bird from Empidonax sp to Acadian Flycatcher after posting it to the TN-BIRD listserv for ID help. All who replied agreed this was a Acadian. The bold eyering and large bill rule out Trail's.
