Observation details
Jaeger on the water. Apparent adult with dark cap. Dark back matched shade of cap. All dark bill appeared longish and slender, not short and stubby as in LTHA. Bill also did not appear heavy or thick as in PAJA. I did not see the bird fly. Basing ID mostly on bill shape and color, as well as upperpart coloration being too dark for LTJA (I think).
