Media notes
NOTES: Weather: WIND; BIRD HIDDEN IN LOW COVER OF POOR ALFALFA FIELD. THIS BIRD SEEMED TO REDUCETHE LOUDNESS OF ITS SONG AS I APPROACHED, SUCH THAT IT WAS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO INCREASE THE SIGNAL-TO-NOISE RATIO BY GETTING CLOSER TO THE SOURCE. AFTER I RETREATED TO ABOUT 30M, THE BIRD RESUMED SINGING AT FULL VOLUME. RIDGE NORTH OF MILE 2.8 OF CLEAR CREEK VALLEY. LNS note: HPF@200Hz when digitized mf. BNA: Song ("tse-slik") is heard. CZ 28/05/2004. [Twenty-five songs, all quite similar to those in LNS #15038 (recorded near Ithaca, New York). Quality changed from 2 to 1-2/2 (though some songs are overloaded and signal is weak for some others) - CAM - 16 March 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
