Observation details
AWESOME. Managed to see 2 different males during our up and down drives. Then another male flushed from the "Secret" Elliot's site. All very brief. Then stumbled upon the magic road and found 5 males and 4 females out in rice fields feeding. Watched from the car but got incredibly close and took wonderful photos. At one point a male wing flapped in full view showing the amazing golden bronze nape. The books definitely don't do the bird justice breathtakingly beautiful!
