Media notes
I waited almost 3 hrs for them to call, and of course it had to happen right when people were making noise. Pardon the car horn...
Observation details
Formerly thought to be LBDO, but identified by the Beermans yesterday ( https://ebird.org/checklist/S72744805 ) and confirmed by Alex and others. Extremely responsive to SBDO calls (alert posture), while ignoring LBDO calls. After a couple hours of observation they finally called for a few seconds, and I was able to poorly record a series of "tu" calls. Slender appearance, with less hunched back than typical of LBDO; size very close to KILL, in fact appearing almost slightly smaller when seen together. Tiger-tertials visible. Relatively short-legged. Photos and audio to follow.
