Observation details
Uncommon as a barrier beach migrant in late Summer-early Fall. Bird observed perched on dead pine. Robust, short-tailed flycatcher with dark flanks giving a vested appearance. Olive above, with mostly black bill. White tufts on sides easily visible on this individual. Photo to follow.
