Observation details
I heard the Bell's vireo first with it's distinctive singing from a distance. I've heard many in the last couple years. I made a few videos to try and grab the sound. Knowing that this bird would be flagged rare here in the back-country of Ohio I walked down the slope of the levee to get a better quality video with sound. (My buddy Gene Stauffer is Pickaway County ebird reviewer here and his standards are high... we've had a few minor issues! :) ) I startled a large buck walking down the levee and you can hear him on the attached audio. I ended up getting a cool video of the 2 birds together. I attached a screen grab. The bird was located on the right side of the levee about 1/3 of the way to the break in the trail. Pics will be attached for further authentication.
