Media notes
This and other recordings of this species have been compared to the known call of A. brunneopectus made by Ken Scriven in Malaysia. Although I have never seen the Taiwan species sing, the calls are so strikingly similar that this is no reasonable doubt that the species recorded here is A. crudigularis. Horornis acanthizoides can be heard chipping in the background. Habitat: Broadleaf evergreen cloudforest with damp steep slopes and dense understory of dwarf bamboo. Habitat: Cloudforest, Evergreen Forest.
