Observation details
Was only able to see the adult female and one young. They were perched together on a branch and she later flew off. The young one stayed put for some time and eventually crashed down into another tree in the woods where it was hard to get a good look at it. When it landed I could hear another bird with a similar kik call to the female but didn’t quite sound like her, higher pitched and quicker sounding. May have been the other older chick and had been perched in the woods the whole time out of site. One recording is the fledgling perched on a branch and the other is the calls I heard when it landed in the woods
