Observation details
Small pale gull with black feet. Saw both adults and juveniles. Most were far out at see giving middling scope views. Clearly smaller than most of the other gulls present. Black wing tips but with no white blobs near the ends (no "windows"). Adults showed dainty yellow bill (similar to Mew Gull) but with with post-occular smudge (similar to Bonaparte's Gull). Juveniles showed distinctive black leading edge of dorsal wing extending from "wrist" to tip. The black band then cut in to the trailing edge of the secondaries. Tail white with dark terminal band.
