Media notes
Recordist's Notes: Call. Not seen. Small seepage pond covered in low vegetation in selectively logged humid forest. Most of the recording natural, the ticks (which sound much like White-throated Crake) at end of the cut is after playback of first part. There is a single tick in the first part, so two species could be involved. The 2 or 3 birds came extremely close, but I could not see them. Someone suggested Gray-breasted Crake, but I cannot remember who, and I can find no similar calls. Elevation: 90 m. Stimulus for sound: Playback Not Specified.
