NOTES: (No. of Animals/Sex: 20+ adults, unknown age, unknown sex. Gen. Climate: Arid.) [This recording contains primarily the call that one often hears from this species when it takes flight during migration (which is similar, if not identical, to the "Trilled Alarm Call" of BNA). There more complex calls given at 0:12, 0:155, and 0:565 (with 0:00 set at beginning of recording not at the announcement) appear spectrographically similar to the "cherrleet" call said to be given by birds at the nest, but they could also represent the "tchwereep," said to be given by migrating birds, if not some other, yet undescribed, vocalization. Quality unchanged (2) - CAM - 22 February 2005] LNS: This is a continuous recording with attenuated recordist sounds. Habitat: Wetland, Mudflat, Salt Marsh, Brackish Marsh, Pond.
