Observation details

1 - roosting low in plain sight - reddish phase. Nice look. I don't think he even opened his eyes as we photographed him. This considered the dry forest western form of the Malagasy Scops Island by most now. Will split it here for now. Eastern form sometimes known as Rainforest Scops Owl.; Photo: yes
