Behavior and other notes: Adult male Kentucky Warbler singing from horizontal perch ~11 meters off the forest floor. He preened some while singing. When singing, he would extend his body from his belly up and raise his head so that his bill was ~40-45 degrees from verticle. In the second cut, he was perched and singing from a horizontal limb in a dead tree in the understory of the woods. Recording Time: 0638 (UTC -4). Temperature 19C. Habitat: Eastern Deciduous Forest, open fields, roadside. Distance to sound source: 10 meters for the first cut and 9 meters for the second cut.
